Once you’ve downloaded the Loyalty app to your Clover station, it’s time to test out how the system works. The videos below cover all the basics, so print out the pre-activated digital fob below or download it to your smartphone, then use the QR code to process a few demo transactions. With a Cash Back Loyalty System, your customers receive a percentage of the money spent on each transaction as loyalty balance. Unlike flat discounts on item prices, the Cash Back loyalty bonus can only be spent at your business, increasing the probability that a customer will return.

A Digital Stamp Loyalty System acts in the same way as a traditional stamp card, but with the added bonus of powerful statistics you can use to track and analyze customer spend and progress. Your customers, too, will be grateful to have one less card to carry around.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I start using the Loyalty app?

    The first time you open the app on your Clover station, you will be asked to set up your loyalty system. You can choose broadly between cash-back and loyalty stamps. If you’re in doubt, feel free to reach out to our support team, who will gladly assist you with setting up the ideal system for your particular business.

    Your loyalty system will also be compatible with our customer app, LoyLap, which can be downloaded to any smartphone from Google Play or the iOS App Market. The customer app uses an interface tailored to your brand and lets your customers keep an eye on their balance at all times.

  • Can I use physical loyalty cards with the Loyalty app?

    Yes! Simply visit our custom gift cards order page to let us know how you want your design to look and get the process started.

    We have preferred rates with plastic card manufacturers, so we can offer you these cards at very competitive rates for small orders. To view all card prices and choose the quantity that works best for you, please see our card pricing chart.

    Please note: You have the option to speed up the manufacturing and shipping of your Gift Cards (custom or generic) at the cost of a premium that's calculated by the total number of cards you order. This is added when you select your shipping option at check-out. Your shipping options only affect your Gift Cards.

    Unfortunately, our manufacturers can't expedite the production of Gift Card packaging, which may be delivered some days after your Gift Cards arrive. There are no costs for shipping packaging.

  • Can I use the Loyalty app for anything else?

    Of course! Our system is incredibly flexible, and some customers come up with new and practical ways to use it. For instance, if you want your business to go cash-less, your customers can top up their loyalty balance first, then use it gradually for in-business acquisitions.

    Here are a few ideas from our business customers on how to make the most out of your loyalty system and gift cards.

  • Is there a minimum duration contract?

    No, there is no minimum duration. You can uninstall the app at any time, at which point all future payments will be cancelled.

  • I’m having a problem with my Loyalty app, can you help?

    Of course. Please see the troubleshooting section below for a few simple steps you can try first. If your problem persists, please get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to assist.

  • My business has several branches. Will the system work in more than one location?

    Yes, the cards will work perfectly across all locations. Customers will be able to earn and redeem stamps or loyalty points at any branch.

    You can track and verify all information in real time through the online LoyLap dashboard. To access your dashboard, simply login to the website here or by clicking the Login button at the top of any page on the LoyLap website.

  • I already have a loyalty system, can I use the QR codes or barcodes on my existing gift cards with your app?

    Unfortunately, no. Our application is designed to use codes generated only by LoyLap. Any other codes will sadly be incompatible with our systems.

    If you have a preexisting customer loyalty database, however, you might be able to migrate all data to your new Loyalty system. Please get in touch with our support team for more information.

Troubleshooting

If you're experiencing any issues with your Loyalty app, please try the steps below.

  • Step 1: Refresh the app. Open the Loyalty app. On the bottom right of the screen, you will see a button to restart the app (it looks like two arrows in a circle). Press this button to refresh the app.
  • Step 2: Uninstall and reinstall the app. Open the App Market from your Clover terminal or Web Dashboard. Uninstall the Loyalty app, then install it again.
  • Step 3: Plug out your device, then plug it back in. This will reboot your system and hopefully sort out the issue.
